Hazel Morales attended California State University, San Bernardino in 2008, where she majored in both Music Education and Vocal Performance. In 2011, she sang understudy roles for Engelbert Humperdinck’s opera “Hansel and Gretel” as both the Dew Fairy and the Sandman. In 2013, she sang as Frida in Robert Xavier Rodriguez’s opera “Frida” and was the soprano soloist for Beethoven’s “Mass in C Major”. In 2018, she sang as the soprano soloist for John Rutter’s “Magnificat” with the VVC Master Arts Chorale, and in 2019, followed the VVC MAC to sing the same piece in Carnegie Hall, New York. In 2021, she joined the vocal jazz group Big Band Theory and performed with the jazz group for 2 years. In 2022, she was welcomed back to CSUSB as a guest vocalist in a quartet to sing alongside the CSUSB orchestra in their Christmas Holiday Gala for two consecutive years. She is currently a private tutor and a children’s choir director for her church
