November 23rd, I had the privilege of participating in Barnes & Noble Victorville Book Author Meet & Greet for SCBWI. It was a great day. Here are some fun pictures of the day. Getting to be part of these events is such an honor and pleasure to socialize with the most talented authors and illustrators.

I'm keeping busy! Come to Barnes & Noble Victorville on November 23rd to see me and a couple amazing SCBWI children's book authors I have the privilege of associating with. I'm sure you can find the perfect gift for your little reader this Holiday season. 

Besides winning, I had a great time at the SCBWI SoCal Fall Harvest Writers & Illustrators Conference on Saturday at Cal State Fullerton. I was so hyper all day.

As co-Assistant ARA I had several duties that included: helping to set up the photo booth, introducing two speakers that are agents in the industry, running the Q&A for the agent panel, and assisting with pitches to the agents. It was so much fun getting to see friends and colleagues from my writing community. The information was so helpful. 

Another few highlights were hearing my story read during 1st pages and getting feedback from the agents first hand. And getting the opportunity to pitch my story BEYOND STYX  to one of them. She liked it and wants me to send it to her. This is great news.  

Who knows, maybe this will be my hear after all.
